Here’s a little update, for you lovely people of tumblr, about this little series of illustrations that I’m making.

Here’s a cute little list that I organized for you guys, of the illustrations that I’ve done so far:

I’ll be adding to it as much as I can despite having a 10-hour shift from work, 6 days a week because I need to stop whining and actually start earning so I can invest enough cash to start printing these little bastards on t-shirts.

Art theft and terrible people aside..

So, basically, I’m currently making this ongoing series of illustrations of where band members have one of their well-known tweets (and/or anything they’ve put or shared on twitter, or I’ve found inspirational) scribbled on their faces.

This is the first time that this has happened to me so.. I don’t really know how to react. Except maybe get mad, naturally.

This won’t be a long ass rant so. But I am mad. I mean, I was honestly—to say the least—flattered too at first that he took interest in my work! And I don’t want to sound like I’m dissing Jonny or anything and.. believe me, I admire the fella (a lot!) and respect him for his works and his really gifted voice but, come on, blatantly ripping off someone else’s work (whom they exerted effort into making) for your own gain is just.. unfair. I know that word has been said again and again with similar situations regarding art theft but..

I’m not asking for anything. And I know I wouldn’t be able to do anything from my end considering the fact that I live halfway across the world from where he’s at right now and that I don’t have the resources to pay for a copyrighter and an attorney to settle this legally.

I really don’t know what to do.

I’m just.. I’m just asking for him to recognize my work. And for him and people to realize that what he’s doing is wrong.
