1. My version of how I see the next Playstation Portable, and how I want it to look like.
Inspired by Apple’s iPhone 4 and the sleek yet the most badly criticized, Sony’s PSP Go. Though I’ve bought one to see for myself why plenty have despised it. One was because the UMD capability was omitted, games have to be downloaded online. This pissed off everybody (who had bought it and those fortunate enough to think twice before buying it) because, well, you can’t repurchase your old UMD games from the Playstation Network, where you download pretty much everything. You have to get them again, and PAY FOR IT AGAIN. Which pissed them off even more [insert ragetoon here]. Well, honestly, I don’t really give a rat’s ass anymore. I lost mine weeks ago after getting drunk and found asleep on a curb of a mall parking lot, apparently I was mugged by the security guards who’ve found me, and that is still a hypothesis I still live on to this day. I still wonder why they did not take my Macbook Pro from my backpack that night when they had the chance. Whoever they were, may God bless them.
Secondly, the screen was too small to see everything. I mean, the original PSP already has a small screen, why in the hell would Sony put an even smaller screen on a new one? Geniuses.
So yeah, I thought I should make my own (to make myself happy, and to satisfy these urges to get my ideas out of me before I explode). As you can see, I’ve removed the curves from the original shitty PSP Go to accommodate more space for a bigger screen. Beat you to that idea, Sony, now didn’t I? Haha. And added some cool features like a touchscreen capability to dial numbers when in phone mode, nifty I know :) but possible? I don’t know. Oh and I’ve included ANOTHER analog stick, just BECAUSE EVERYONE, AND I REPEAT, EVERYONE DEMANDED IT. And you, Sony, played ignorant ‘til the very end.
And there you go, my PSP Go 2.0 :)
All in vectors and made entirely in Adobe Illustrator CS5.
